Unique in concept and revolutionary in design, the Theater In Motion Experience is the most dramatic advancement in custom audio since SpeakerCraft invented the inwall speaker over twenty years ago. Mounted flush in the ceiling these speakers automatically drop down to a 15º, 30º or 45˚ angle and then rotate to aim toward any position in the room. Utilizing a remote control and multiple presets, the system can be configured to a variety of seating positions and configurations. This makes the TIME speaker an In-Ceiling and In-Room loudspeaker in the same package. Why choose between the two when you can have both?
SpeakerCraft was the first company to introduce a pivoting speaker. They patented the design and will defend the right to be the only company to offer this superior technology. SpeakerCraft’s tradition of innovative design, combined with one of the most extensive engineering efforts in this industry's history, has led to the creation of the patented AIM series of fully directional in-ceiling loudspeakers. Each model can be entirely pivoted towards the listener while remaining discretely recessed behind a flush-mounted grille.
Ceiling speakers have become the first choice for the majority of consumers who are interested in home theater or multi-room installations. At SpeakerCraft, they have addressed this demand in a variety of different models. The new AIM WIDE was originally intended for creating a diffused rear sound field in a home theater. However, it has become clear that customers are just as interested in using them for high-performance multi-room installations.
The AIM WIDE has the same footprint and woofers as the AIM 8. However, the rest of the speaker is a huge departure from that familiar format. A unique dual mid-tweeter module is mounted directly over the woofer with two 2-inch dome midrange drivers and two 1-inch dome tweeters facing 70 degrees off access from each other. The result is ultra-wide dispersion with tremendous fidelity. You will find numerous applications for all three AIM WIDE models. Imagine them in your next installation.
