Motorized Surround Sound Speakers

Unique in concept and revolutionary in design, the Theater In Motion Experience is the most dramatic advancement in custom audio since SpeakerCraft invented the inwall speaker over twenty years ago. Mounted flush in the ceiling these speakers automatically drop down to a 15º, 30º or 45˚ angle and then rotate to aim toward any position in the room. Utilizing a remote control and multiple presets, the system can be configured to a variety of seating positions and configurations. This makes the TIME speaker an In-Ceiling and In-Room loudspeaker in the same package. Why choose between the two when you can have both?

AIM Directional speakers

SpeakerCraft was the first company to introduce a pivoting speaker. They patented the design and will defend the right to be the only company to offer this superior technology. SpeakerCraft’s tradition of innovative design, combined with one of the most extensive engineering efforts in this industry's history, has led to the creation of the patented AIM series of fully directional in-ceiling loudspeakers. Each model can be entirely pivoted towards the listener while remaining discretely recessed behind a flush-mounted grille.

AIM Wide Area Rear Channel Speakers

Ceiling speakers have become the first choice for the majority of consumers who are interested in home theater or multi-room installations. At SpeakerCraft, they have addressed this demand in a variety of different models. The new AIM WIDE was originally intended for creating a diffused rear sound field in a home theater. However, it has become clear that customers are just as interested in using them for high-performance multi-room installations.

The AIM WIDE has the same footprint and woofers as the AIM 8. However, the rest of the speaker is a huge departure from that familiar format. A unique dual mid-tweeter module is mounted directly over the woofer with two 2-inch dome midrange drivers and two 1-inch dome tweeters facing 70 degrees off access from each other. The result is ultra-wide dispersion with tremendous fidelity. You will find numerous applications for all three AIM WIDE models. Imagine them in your next installation.

NEAT!™ (No Edge Audio Technology)

With the invention of the in-wall loudspeaker, SpeakerCraft began a revolution. Simply mounting the speaker in the wall or ceiling got it off the floor or the shelf making it a much less obtrusive part of the system. Over the years they have constantly improved both the sonic quality and aesthetics of the product. From careful color selection for the molded elements to the fine mesh of the grille. They are always looking for ways to make speakers more appealing.

After listening to the requests of dealers were receiving from some architects, SpeakerCraft is now offering yet another speaker option. The new NEAT! series of in-wall and in-ceiling speakers have no external flange. That means the grill material will cover the baffle and drivers and leave no additional edge between the speaker and the wall surface. Best of all they have managed to incorporate our award winning pivoting AIM technology into all of the in-ceiling models. What do these improved aesthetics cost over similar models in the SpeakerCraft line? If it weren’t for the somewhat more sophisticated new construction bracket they would probably be pricing it below similar conventional models in the line. After all there is less material in the speaker.

The fact is that we are able to offer it at only a very small premium over similar conventional models. Yes, NEAT! does require a slightly different mounting system and coordination during the drywall process. A little extra care is necessary to achieve the desired aesthetic outcome, however the results are incredible.

For discriminating clients, with a discerning eye, the NEAT! series is the only way to go!
